Merseyside logoChange Grow Live was developed in the 1970s by magistrates and former probation officers to support people leaving prison to resettle in the community. Today, we continue to offer rehabilitation interventions and services across the country that encourage and enable people to stop offending and regain control of their lives.

Our staff work in prisons, custody suites and communities to support individuals who come into contact with the criminal justice system, including those with drug and alcohol needs, those who commit large amounts of crime, women with children and individuals with complex needs.

On our Circles Merseyside Project, we support people who have been convicted of sexual offences across the Merseyside area (Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, Wirral and St Helens).

Since our project started in 2016, we have offered support to 23 individuals, and recruited over 100 volunteers.

We are always looking for more adult Volunteers from all walks of life who are approachable, emotionally stable and have a mature outlook. The ability to maintain firm boundaries is essential. Volunteers are asked to commit around 2-4 hours per week for 12-18 months. We provide full training, ongoing professional support and reimburse expenses. Appointment is dependent on satisfactory references and criminal record checks.
