Circles North

Circles North

Circles North is a charity-based organisation delivering a range of services across all stages of the criminal justice system. Working in partnership with charities and third sector organisations, statutory providers, criminal justice agencies and Local Authorities, we support people who’ve experienced trauma or adverse situations in their lives, helping them navigate statutory provision and achieve wellbeing for them and their families.

We offer Circles services across three areas:

  • the North-east (Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and County Durham,
  • the North-west (Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside and Cheshire),
  • Yorkshire (North Yorkshire, York and West Yorkshire).

Our organisation, formed in 1882, has a long history and over the years we have developed a wide range of services supporting people of all ages, including young people’s programmes, support for people in care and family-based programmes. We also work in prison settings, supporting people on their path to rehabilitation.

Predominantly volunteer-led, we are always looking for people to join our team, supporting people in a variety of roles, including as members of a Circle.
